Hope Housing is an individually tailored program designed to provide comprehensive housing services connected to Substance Use Disorder (SUD) and Specialty Mental Health Services (SMHS). This program is dedicated to meeting the unique mental health and substance use treatment needs of each client through a personalized, trauma informed, and flexible approach to treatment and care coordination. The Hope Housing Program offers a service-enriched Bridge Housing environment. The program’s main goal is to support individuals and/or families who have SMI or SUD in developing the skills necessary to maintain a structured life with the tools needed to maintain autonomous success. By fostering a supportive community, residents can build social networks and support systems that encourage positive lifestyle changes and a hopeful vision for their future. Bridge Housing is temporary with a goal of finding permanent housing within 18 months.
Hope Housing is a collaborative effort involving several key partners: Monterey County Behavioral Health, Sun Street Centers, Interim Inc, Housing Resource Center, and Housing Authority for the County of Monterey. Through our collective efforts, Hope Housing provides essential wraparound services. We welcome you to a supportive community where you can hope, heal, share, and thrive on the path to a drug-free and alcohol-free lifestyle.
