The Anne C. Leach Residential Scholarship Fund was created for individuals in recovery who do not have the financial means to enter and attend the program, but have the sincere desire to recover, heal and thrive.

The money raised through this fund is used to cover a portion of the program fees of men and women who have successfully completed any of our three Residential Programs (Salinas, Hollister, or King City), and are working hard towards a life of long-term recovery. It is a merit-based scholarship.

You can join us in making recovery possible for all by donating today!  Donations over $250 will be recognized with a personalized brick.   All personalized bricks will be displayed in our brick patio at our Sun Street Centers facility at 11 Peach Drive in Salinas.

anneAnne C. Leach was on the Board of Directors at Sun Street Centers from 1995 to 2016, including having served as president for two terms.  Her dedication to this organization is demonstrated through her countless hours of volunteer work, her philanthropy and, most of all, the invaluable amount of pro bono legal services she has provided to the organization for the past 21 years.  She is responsible for introducing Sun Street Centers to some of our most influential community members.  Being a family member of a person in long-term recovery, Anne has a special connection to our cause .  Her compassion and commitment have made her an influential and key supporter of this organization.  The Board and Staff unanimously decided that the Scholarship Fund be named after Anne, recognizing her outstanding service to Sun Street Centers.
