Sun Street Centers Receives Grant to Support Road to Success Program on the Monterey Peninsula

Sun Street Centers has been awarded a grant from the Monterey Peninsula Volunteer Services Benefit Shop to support its Road to Success program on the Monterey Peninsula. This funding will help expand prevention and early-intervention services for youth providing critical resources, mentorship, and support designed to keep youth ages 12-17 on a positive path toward academic achievement and personal growth.

The Road to Success Program focuses on empowering youth who may be at risk of academic challenges or involvement with the justice system by addressing both immediate needs and long-term goals. Through an approach that includes education, skill building, community involvement, and counseling, the program helps young people develop confidence and healthy decision-making skills.

Sun Street Centers remains committed to building safer, healthier communities through evidence-based prevention, treatment, and recovery services across Monterey County. Grants like this play a key role in strengthening local programs and expanding access to services that promote well-being of youth.
