The 12 Days of Giving campaign, now in its seventh year, is a gracious community effort to support nonprofit organizations providing imperative services to San Benito County residents. Together, CASA of San Benito County, Chamberlain’s Children Center, Community FoodBank of San Benito, Emmaus House and Sun Street Centers cooperate in what is fast becoming a local holiday tradition.
12 Days of Giving takes place Dec. 1 to Dec. 12. During that time, monetary donations made to any of the participating organizations will be matched in part by funds provided by the generous local organizations and businesses listed below.
This being Sun Street Center’s inaugural year in San Benito County, the organization is excited to be included in the 12 Days of Giving.
Located in downtown Hollister, Sun Street Centers recovery program provides a supportive environment for single women and women with small children seeking a life free from the devastating effects of drug and alcohol addiction. Certified counselors and recovery participants incorporate the principles of Social Model recovery, which utilize a peer-oriented, mutual help system that views the participant as a student, not a patient.
Please note: for donations to be matched, checks must be dated between Dec.1-12 and “12 days” written on your check memo line.
Please Mail to: Sun Street Centers 11 Peach Drive, Salinas, CA 93901 or donate online between Dec. 1-12 at https://bit.ly/2r0x7Yg.
To donate to the other four participating agencies, please visit the 12 Days of Giving Facebook page or their individual websites.
