Sun Street Centers in San Luis Obispo, California, USA is seeking certified Medical Assistants to facilitate an individual Residential programs in San Luis Obispo, CA. The successful candidate will serve the special needs of program participants involved with the behavioral health or criminal justice system who are under the influence of alcohol or other drugs. Provide medical observation and substance abuse referral. Maintain a safe, cooperative, caring atmosphere. Required to be certified as an EMT, CMA, or CNA within the State of California, with licensure number current (CCMA).
One year’s experience in alcohol and drug addiction treatment, recovery, or prevention. If in recovery, approved amount of time in continuous sobriety. Certification as a medical assistant, nursing assistant or emergency medical technician within the State of California is required.
POSITION: Medical Assistant II
LOCATION: San Luis Obispo, CA
HOURS: Part-Time or Full – Time
PAY: $24.81 – $25.80 DOE & Certification
