Provide outpatient counseling and education services to adults and youth seeking alcohol and drug treatment services. This position includes case management, individual and group counseling, oversight of daily treatment operations and quality assurance. Ability to communicate in a considerate and culturally sensitive manner. Community outreach for the advancement of agency services, Familiar with Medi-Cal and Electronic Health record use.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent plus three years of related experience working with people with alcohol and/or drug addiction. Can be licensed or registered as an associate with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences and/or social work or clinical experience in AOD/SUD field; Or certification and/or registration with the State of California in Substance Use Disorder counseling.

Environmental Conditions:
Constant movement around service area, and travel into the community. Time spent sitting, using a computer station, periods of intense concentration, using the telephone, paperwork. Time spent in meetings, travel to various work site locations throughout the County. Exposure to outdoor weather and environmental conditions.
NOTE: Employees will be required to be double vaccinated with booster for COVID-19, fingerprinted, and will be subject to clearance by the department of Justice.
