Job Description

To perform accounts receivable duties for the Accounting Department.  To generate invoices including but not limited to Medi-Cal, County contracts, and other private contract billing.  Prepare accounts receivable aging report, perform account reconciliations, and maintain donor-restricted funds schedule.  Analyze grant and government funding allocations, assist in accounts payable, and prepare accounts receivables journal entries into the general ledger.  High use of customer service skills, communication, and accounting skills.  Ability to be organized and keep client confidentiality in a client-centered substance abuse prevention, treatment, and recovery setting.  Ability to communicate in a considerate and culturally sensitive manner, operate a computer, printer, copier, fax, and 10-key calculator.  Must be advanced in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, and Outlook.

 

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum AA degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent plus three years of related experience working in an accounting and general ledger environment.

SALARY RANGE: $20.91 – $23.27

SCHEDULE: 40 Hours with Benefits

Environmental Conditions:
Office environment, equipment, and tasks.  A significant amount of time spent sitting at a desk and looking at a desktop or laptop computer. Long periods of intense concentration.
