Oversight responsibility for Residential Client Treatment Plans. Fiduciary responsibilities including Medi-Cal and private health insurance diagnoses and treatment plans, and billing. Support in supervision, hiring and evaluation of counselors and/or interns. Case management for men, women, and families seeking recovery from substance abuse. Provides direct assessment and diagnosis for clients entering treatment, continuing treatment, and discharging form, or stepping down treatment. Community outreach for the advancement of agency services. Speaking presentations and representing the agency in the community and at events. LPHA I, II based on level of supervision responsibility.
A four-year college degree or equivalent plus LAADAC and 2 years direct experience in treatment program, a master’s level degree in marriage and family therapy, social work, or related field; plus 2 years of administrative experience working with people with alcohol and/or drug abuse problems in a treatment or prevention environment

Constant movement around service area, and travel into the community. Time spent sitting, using a computer station, periods of intense concentration, using the telephone, paperwork. Time spent in meetings, travel to various work site locations throughout the County. Exposure to outdoor weather and environmental conditions.
NOTE: Employees will be required to be double vaccinated with booster for COVID-19, fingerprinted, and will be subject to clearance by the department of Justice.
