Case Management Specialist – Residential – Salinas

Job Description

To provide comprehensive support to a coed residential facility, providing intake and ASAM assessment that will require approval for services from the county, Medi-Cal or other insurance providers.  Develop recovery and detox plans in a social model residential setting.  Provide individual, family and group counseling.  The organization, confidentiality, and customer service in a client-centered substance abuse community, treatment, and recovery setting.  Ability to communicate in a considerate and culturally sensitive manner, track program participants, and groups, make appointments, answer phones, take messages, use a variety of office machines, including a computer, printer, copier, fax, and calculator.  Must be proficient in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, and Outlook and other databases.

 

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent plus three years of related work experience in the drug & alcohol field.  Certification with the State of California in AOD/SUD Counseling

SALARY RANGE: $20.91-$27.33

SCHEDULE: 40 Hours with Benefits

Environmental Conditions:
Office environment, equipment, and tasks.  A significant amount of time spent sitting at a desk and looking at a desktop or laptop computer. Long periods of intense concentration.
