Valerie Smith joined Sun Street Centers’ Board of Directors to represent the interests of the people of San Benito County. Valerie is a Broker Associate for Intero Real Estate Services. She lives in Tres Pinos and really cares about supporting positive community activities for families. Valerie gravitated to the message of prevention and recovery, especially about how Sun Street Centers helps young people make good decisions and helps families reunite after struggling with alcoholism or addiction. Valerie is currently working with CEO, Anna Foglia, to plan a fundraising event to support our women and children’s sober living and recovery house here in Hollister! The event will take place March 16, 2017! It will feature lots of goodies from the south, like fried chicken and waffles and peach pie; and have a Blue Grass band for entertainment! This will be an opportunity for our community to learn more about addiction and how Sun Street Centers can help. Keep an eye out for more details. Anna and Valerie are currently looking for sponsors.
