The Safe Teens Empowerment Project in Salinas and Building Healthy Communities are hosting a Youth Summit, “The Power of Youth,” on Saturday July 27, 2013 at 37 Central Avenue from 11am-4pm. Some of the topics that will be discussed are: drug and alcohol abuse, bullying/cyber bullying, defining your true self, social justice and moving beyond violence.
