Dr. Casey Grover, an emergency physician at Montage Health – Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula (CHOMP), has recently been collaborating with Sun Street Centers’ Prevention departments regarding drug safety and addiction.

“Our goal with drug safety and addiction in our county is to make an overdose a point of intervention,” says Dr. Grover, “Treating an overdose as a critical event that can be a way to get people interested in treatment, or changing behavior, or alerting their family or physicians can, in a certain group of patients, make a difference.”
