Job Description

Staff Accountant is responsible for accounts payable for a large nonprofit.  Staff Accountant reports to the accounting manager. Complete weekly AP check runs, monthly accounts payable reconciliations, purchase orders, invoice/vendor statements, and credit card receipts. Responsible for vendor relations; must be able to work as part of a team; cross train with other accounting duties as assigned.

 

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum two years of bookkeeping or accounts payable experience. Ability to work with a database and advanced excel.

 

POSITION: Staff Accountant II -AP

SALARY: $19.82 – $22.06 per hour

LOCATION: 11 Peach Drive, Salinas CA

HOURS: 28-40 hours per week

Environmental Conditions:
Office environment, equipment and tasks.  Significant amount of time spent sitting at desk and looking at desktop or laptop computer. Long periods of intense concentration.
