Provide early intervention strategies for substance abuse and working in a diverse service area with youth. Responsible for providing direct services to students and families. Requires knowledge in planning and building a comprehensive life skills plan through developed communication skills, providing resources, and diverting youth from initiation into the juvenile system.
Bachelors’ degree with 1 years experience or Associates degree with 2 years of experience working in education and outreach in a community-based organization Experience working with teens and community advocacy; ability to communicate effectively and build bridges in the community. Familiarity with the South County communities. Must have valid California driver’s license and automobile insurance.
