Prevention Program Aide – Seaside

To provide clerical support, act as a resource for alcohol and drug addiction information, treatment education within the prevention program. Communicate with Spanish speaking public.  A mentor for the Safe Teens Empowerment Project (STEPS) youth program, assist Coordinator with Life Skills Training and other education/prevention classes, assist PARTS Coalition with environmental policies and media activities.  Ability to communicate in a considerate and culturally sensitive manner. Ability to maintain confidential records.   Able to use a Microsoft Office, enter in a database with accuracy.



Bilingual preferred. High School diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent.  Two years’ experience working with substance abuse education, treatment, recovery, or prevention field, or related nonprofit experience.


POSITION: Prevention Program Aide

LOCATION: Seaside Prevention $13.62 an hour

RANGE: $13.62 an hour

HOURS: Part-Time / 20 hours
