The year 2018, marks Sun Street Centers’ 50th Anniversary.
Beginning in 1968 with a mere 2 employees (founder Martin Dodd, and his wife Nancy), and a single location that offered one program in Salinas, we have experienced exceptional growth, evolving into one of Monterey County’s leading resources for substance abuse treatment. In addition to services in Monterey County, Sun Street Centers has expanded services into San Benito County for families seeking treatment or sober living.
In the coming year, the organization will be showcasing the many partners, service providers, clients, and volunteers who have contributed to and supported our vision: to treat and prevent drug and alcohol addiction, while supporting long term recovery.
