Castle of the Dead

Halloween season is here!

JOIN US October 25th (Saturday), 26th (Sunday) and 29th-31st (Wednesday –Friday) for a good scare and pumpkin picking at our 4th Annual Castle of the Dead Haunted House and Pumpkin Patch! All of the fun and thrill is happening in Salinas, Ca at the Storm House, 185 Maryal Drive (located next to the Rabobank Stadium).  See event flyer here: Castle of the Dead 2014 Flyer.

From terrifying chills to exhilarating thrills our 6,000 square foot Haunted House has something to offer all Halloween enthusiasts. This year we are featuring a Steampunk Castle, Haunted Sanitarium, Merciless Maze and more. Prepare to be scared…if you dare! Since we are a family-friendly event open to people of all ages, we will be offering a variety of fun and kid-friendly activities in our pumpkin patch, as well as entertainment, games and super heroes!

As each year comes and goes, we continue to evolve, building in theatricality, excitement and community involvement! This year is no exception. You won’t be disappointed if you join us. Not only will you have a fun-filled experience, but you will also be supporting a worthy community cause. The Castle of the Dead Haunted House and Pumpkin Patch was established in 2011 as a collaborative community effort to support Sun Street Centers’ youth alcohol and drug abuse prevention efforts through our S.T.E.PS. program (Safe Teens Empowerment Project). The event’s focus is to promote health and activity for youth in a fun, safe and family-friendly environment.

We have one of the spookiest and community supported haunts around! Our haunted house and outdoor pumpkin patch provides safe, fun and family-friendly activities for people of all ages and is expected to bring together over 2,000 guests during Halloween week. In addition, we work together with many local community organizations (such as the Salinas Rotary Interact Club, CSUMB Rotoract, the Defense Language Institute (DLI), Salinas Girls Fastpitch and the Salinas Lions Club) and community volunteers, some of which continue to support us year after year. We are grateful for the community and business support we receive and for the financial support provided by our event sponsors.

Please be sure to join us, volunteer, check out our Facebook page for ongoing event updates, and share with your family and friends.
